David manages the daily operations of Hainlen Orchard, our 109-year-old culinary and dessert fruit orchard that supplies base apples for all our ciders.  David is an amazing asset to our local agriculture operation of far more than just apples!  His leadership positively impacts our entire business, as he oversees our seasonal and year-round staff. 

David has a background in agriculture, but also worked in his degree field of broadcasting and media where he worked as program director and on-air host for radio stations in Arizona and Indiana.  David enjoys traveling and camping in his tear-drop camper.

David is involved with the following grants and research projects:
